Copyright Notice
The CMU Journal of Science (CMUJS) recognizes the importance of protecting the intellectual rights of authors while ensuring the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. Copyright ownership and publication rights are managed in a manner that supports both author recognition and open access principles.
Authors retain the copyright of their published works. By submitting a manuscript to CMUJS, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article electronically and in other formats as part of the journal’s official publication activities. This arrangement allows CMUJS to preserve, disseminate, and promote published research while ensuring that authors maintain ownership of their intellectual contributions.
The submission of a manuscript to CMUJS implies that the work has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal. Authors must ensure that their submissions do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others and that all contributions comply with ethical standards for scholarly publishing.
